Welcome to the website for the Arklatex Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, serving financial planners and allied professionals throughout northwest and northeast Louisiana, southern Arkansas, and east Texas.

Being a member of the ARK-LA-TEX FPA Financial Planning Association (FPA) has been a very rewarding experience for me. I enjoy attending meetings and learning about the latest changes in the Financial Planning Profession as well as networking with other CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioners, CPAs, Attorneys and Insurance Professionals.

As 2013 Chapter President, I will do my best to provide our members and guests the best value for their money. We are planning some excellent meetings with exceptional speakers, and we plan to offer two (2) hours CFP® Continuing Education credit at almost every meeting. We look forward to reaching out to our community in a variety of ways this year. We have enjoyed a long partnership with Junior Achievement, and we are making plans for Financial Planning Week in October. We are especially pleased with our continued partnership with The Times by providing weekly Financial Fundamentals columns to our community.

FPA is a valuable resource to members, keeping us informed with the latest news from Washington and throughout the Financial Planning industry.

If you are not yet a member of the ARK-LA-TEX Chapter  FPA and are a CFP®, insurance professional, attorney or CPA who supports the Financial Planning profession, I urge you to attend an upcoming meeting. At the very least you will learn something new, plus you will have an opportunity to meet some wonderful people.
